Nick Borenstein

Nick is an award-winning producer, filmmaker, and content executive with a diverse background in film, television, audio, and digital. Nick launched Brumor Films, a production company, and consulting agency, developing original content and overseeing events and partnerships for clients including The Gotham Film & Media Institute, Screen Australia, Consulate General of Canada & Más Gallo Media.

Prior to Brumor, Nick was Head of Scripted for Topic where he oversaw development and production of original scripted productions and international co-productions for Topic's SVOD. Nick's projects at Topic include the Emmy-nominated comedy series AKA WYATT CENAC, the AACTA Award-winning drama THE TAILINGS, the Webby Award-winning podcast MISSING RICHARD SIMMONS, the Shorty-nominated podcast POLITICALLY RE-ACTIVE WITH W. KAMAU BELL & HARI KONDABOLU, and critically acclaimed series and films from Sharon Horgan (BAD SISTERS), Robert Kirkman (THE WALKING DEAD), Jim Cummings (THUNDER ROAD) Coodie & Chike (JEEN-YUHS) and Joe Penna (STOWAWAY). Nick also held original programming and development roles at Hud:sun Media and Participant Media, and currently serves as General Manager of the Webby Awards.

Nick's directing, writing and producing credits include THE COMEDIANS, a scripted comedy podcast for Audible, award-winning short films SWEATER, 99 and PETE CAN'T PLAY BASKETBALL and THE BUDDY SYSTEM, a comedic digital series for EliteDaily.com. Nick's films have screened at the Tribeca Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival, Outfest, Cannes Short Film Festival, InsideOut, Palm Springs International ShortFest, Just For Laughs, Frameline, Seattle International Film Festival and Newfest. He’s currently in pre-production on his debut feature film.
